How Can Appetite Loss After Treatment Of H.Pylori Be Treated?
My 14 yo F child is post H. pylori status 12 months ago suffered from nausea and lost of appetite. her complains is stomach pain, nausea after food injection, no or low appetite. Her weight is wnl, no anorexia behavior is noted. H. pylori negative for 9 months. She is 5 2 113lb. Weight loss is 1.5- 2.5lb/week. Current meds: prylosec po tid, zofran prn, aleve prn (for period pain), albuterol prn. What kind of therapy or meds ca n you recommend for appetite increasment

for hpyloriomiprazol and antibiotic like ezythrocin can be given.there may be some side effect of treatment like nausea vomiting. keep the acid level of stomach low.consult gastroenterologist for examination and advise on treatment.generaly after 4 weeks of treatment thepationt is normal and free from disease.
