How Can Arm Pain With Tingling Be Treated?

I too have had some pain in my left arm just past the elbow and at times, it feels like needles and pins. It's more noticeable when I wake up. I'm 52 and had this once before and the doctor prescribed Naproxen but it didn't really seem to help. I've tried soaking in the Jacuzzi and tub with Epsom salts. I'm right-handed and I too some bartending on occasion and I do lift heavy boxes on occasion but evenly. I'm on a computer almost all day typing. What can I do? Should I get an X-ray? Thank you for any help you can give me! I've had this now for about 4 days.
