Good morning Sir, I am staying in Guwahati, Assam, India, my 9 year daughter suffering from atopic dermatitis from last several years. Many Doctors of Guwahati had treated her by Alopethic, Homeopathic and Ayurveda but not cured completely. Finally on 20/07/2017 I took my daughter to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. After examination Dermatologist Dr. Ramji Gupta of Apollo Hospital prescribed her Betnesol Forte tablet 2 times a day and Moiz MM cream for local application 2 times a day for one month. As directed by doctor my daughter taking Betnesol Forte tablet 2 times a day and fill bater. Please suggest
It is nice to know that your daughter is responding to the prescribed medications given to her by the treating doctor. Continue the prescribed medication.
The choice drug treatment for Atopic dermatitis is corticosteroids, but cannot be used for a long time because of its serious side effects. In case of any side effect like indigestion, anxiety/nervousness, depression, infections, drying of skin, etc report immediately to the treating doctor so that the medication can either be altered or stopped.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
