How Can Avascular Necrosis Of The Hips Be Treated?

Last year i was diagnosed with Avascular necrosis of the hips - i was made to understand that there was limited blood flow to the joints (due to my status as HbSS) hence why i am having this problem. I am not keen on surgery now or anytime in the future (i dont believe i have reached a stage where surgery is required). I want to know is there anything i can do to prevent further deterioration and perhaps a cure? Thanks.
