How Can Backache Along With Neck Pain And Headache Be Treated?
My concern is I have chronic back pain and neck pain, with a headache, I don t have the headache as often; however, the back pain is daily, pains level are from 5-10. My Doctor have me trying a new pain medicine Celecoxib 200. I would like to know if there are any other supplement or natural alternative medicines; I can take, because I feel very uncomfortable with the side effects that this medicine could give me a heart attack or stroke. My mother died from a stroke and she has heart problems. Thank you for a reply!
General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to cervical spondylosis. X ray of cervical spine will be helpful to rule out this. NSAID drugs like celecoxib can be taken for short term. Avoid high pillows and use an orthopedic pillow. You can also use cervical collar. Neck exercises and physiotherapy also is helpful. Hope this may help you.Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
