Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you are having back pains for years now it is chronic back pain and very likely by what you explain the pain is due to disc problems and arthritis in the back joints. In this case related to paracetamol studies have shown that it might not be as effective to treat the pain. The best thing to do in your case is to talk with a physiotherapist that can evaluate your back and give you exercises that help relax the muscles and relieve the pain.
Kind regards,
