How Can Bilateral Foraminal Stenosis Be Treated?

my husband has severe bilateral foraminal stenosis (MRI 6/30/17), and has had a silent stroke (MRI 7/26/17 and CT 6/30/17), he is getting weaker every day to the point where he could walk a week ago and now has to use a walker; the neurosurgeon we saw, said to do PT, injections, and an EMG (which are scheduled) but i wanted to know if we should seek a 2nd opinion.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, you should definitely consult good neurologist who perform interventions.
Bilateral foraminal stenosis needs Stenting to open the stenosed part of carotid artery.
Stenting will allow adequate blood flow to brain so brainstorm functions will not be hampered.
So better to consult interventional neurologist.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
