How Can Bipolar Disorder Be Treated?

yes, i am bipolar2 and have been told several by variious doctors not to use antideppressants only mood stabilizers..my current doctor wants to put me back on antidepressants. What is the answer and how do I tactifully tell her that I do not want to use them.Last time I was on a anit depressant I begin rapid cycling.Thank You for your time.

The treatment of bipolar affective disorder is directly related to the phase of the episode ( depression or mania) and the severity of that phase, and it may involve a combination of psychotherapy and medication. So it depends upon your consulting doctors who first diagnosed you as BIPOLAR2.If not in depressive state the not required.(Thanks)
