How Can Bleeding From Biopsy Scar Be Treated?

I had a mole biopsy about 8 years ago on back, right shoulder with negative results. However, my scar never seemed to heal and I would have periodic bleeding and the scar would become scaly and then change to smooth surface. Recently though, it started to bleed with just a slight touch. I have been treating it with an antibiotic cream which stops the bleeding but it begins to bleed again when showering or if rubbed. I can t sleep on this side without causing bleeding. Is this something I need to be concerned about? I started taking a blood thinner 4 years ago and note that the bleeding occurrences increased.

hi. yes you consult with tour surgeon again because a blood vessel might have been reaected during the procedure. meanwhile you can apply pressure dressing on the area, and if not contraindicated you can take tranexamic acid.
