General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history of bleeding from the old burn scars on leg.
This is a serious thing.
This can be cancer that develops into scars from the past burns.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation.
First of all consult a Dermatologist or A general Surgeon.
Ask for biopsy and other tests like X-ray/CT scan of the the affected area.
Further management will be as per the cause found.
You will need surgical correction of the area.
Hence will be referred to the General or Plastic Surgeon.
Till then apply only liquid povidone iodine on the affected part.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
