How Can Blisters On The Tongue And Arm Be Treated?

I have been exposed to Hoof, Mouth, Hand, and Foot Disease and noticed tonight that I have two blisters on my tongue and one on my arm. I know tylenol and peptobismol would be good to take. What about Augmentin? I have a prescription for 875mg Augmentin.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease is a viral infection caused by Enterovirus and is a viral infection causing sores and blisters in mouth and over body parts.

As it is a viral infection therefore Augmentin will not help in resolving the same as it is helpful in resolving bacterial infection..

Gradually the blisters will crust and heal..
So mu suggestion is to continue taking Tylenol and Peptobismol and along with it..
Avoid spicy and acidic foods to prevent discomfort and pain in mouth..
Take cool and bland fluids and do cool compresses over the blisters..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
