How Can Blocked Ear And Hearing Loss Be Treated?

I had a cough and cold for 3 weeks and during that time and now I have had hearing loss in my right ear and it feels blocked. I have a clap machine so I am not sure if that has also effected the ear staying the way it is. I don t have pain. I saw urgent care a week into this cold and they prescribed OC medication. So I am wondering if I should see a doctor again. I was looking for home remedies too.

Hi, I have gone through your query. Seems that the Eustachian Tube has been blocked due to the cough and cold you had.I would suggest the following-1_ Gargling with warm saline water.2-Using a nasal spray.3-An AntiAllergic Loratidine 5 mg once a day 4-An Antibiotic Levofloxacin 500 mg once a day x 5 days.
