How Can Blocked Nose In An Infant Be Treated?

Hullo, My baby is 5months old, he has been having a blocked nose for close to three weeks, I gave him cetrizen for about 3 days and stopped, then his flu came back and I have been giving him piritex baby and saline nasal drops, but he does not seem to be getting better. Please advise on the quickest treatment i can give him for relief.

Hi and welcome to HCM.
You need to find saline solution nasal spray with minimal amount of efedrin. This should be applied 2 times daily. Also, you can get inhalator aand nose aspirator from the pharmacy. This will relieve symptoms but not cure the flu.It simply must pass some time till he recovers,he should just have enough fluids and have febrility reduced.
