Question about blotchy skin on lower leg. It s been progressing for 4 or 5 months. Is it anything I should worry about? No lumps, no itching, no pattern, but quite dramatic. Last year I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. There were questions about rheumatoid arthritis but it was not part of diagnosis. Hip, shoulder replaced and both feet collapsed so I walk funny. Blotchy skin doesn t bother me but I m getting nervous about new strange things.
As per your case history of bloches on lower limb. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
