How Can Bowel Incontinence Be Treated?

Hi , Past 3 days I ve had a bit of an upset stomach. 2 of the days I have woken up in the morning and urgently needed to poo. The poo is sloppy but I wouldn t say it s diarrhoea as it still has shape and is solid. After this a couple of hours will go then I need to go again encountering similar symptoms where I cannot hold it. The poo is very uncomfortable and unlike normal, almost just feels like my body is just trying to get it out of my system. For the rest of the day I won t really need to go anymore. A week ago however I did have diarrhoea but then I was fine until this. Any ideas?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is not a bowel incontinence it is vigorous bowel movements against the closed anal sphincter may seen in irritable bowel syndrome or infection or Acute gastrentritis etc.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Take soft diet,do regular exercise. Use tablet Sporulac twice a day for five days. Avoid lactose and gluten contain food. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
