Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,

Treatment of brain aneurysms (as well as decisions on whether to treat them in the first place) is very complex. When treatment is indicated, it can be done surgically by placing a metal clip to exclude the aneurysm from the circulation or through endovascular intervention by filling it with coils.

The decision between the two procedures depends on many factors such as location, form, accessibility, etc. as well as the experience of the treating center. As for what to avoid apart from avoiding smoking and treating high blood pressure no other interventions are necessary.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
