How Can Brain Functioning In Children Be Improved?

I am currently writing about brain growth in children through education, so I was wondering :1. How does brain growth occur? 2. How does education aid this brain growth? 3. Are there any other external factors that can encourage brain growth apart from reading / education? 4. Are there any hereditary factors that can affect intelligence and thus produce a higher IQ score?Thats all the questions I have and would appreciate your expertise, Thank You

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

* Brain growth occurs via the various experiences the child gets through five senses organs throughout life.

*Stimulation of these sense organs by exposing the baby to varied experiences (before &after birth) enhances brain growth.

*-Person gains knowledge &decides his own response as follows --The experiences gained reach, through a huge network of sensory nerves, to brain cells (neurons).

The experience gained is realised. As realized it's effect on the person or surroundings is understood & the type of reaction (to combat bad effects or gain benefit from the incidence) is decided (at mind level) and the decided reaction is sent to motor nerves (which bring about bodily activities to achieve decided effect of the sense experience).

Wisdom/intelligence is gained by spreading the sensory experience to surrounding brain cells & repetition of same experience many times gives memory, intelligence &wisdom.

* Stimulation of all sensory organs( eyes, ear, nose, tongue &skin) stimulates brain growth.

*Yes heredity does have some role in brain development. Many of them (except for physical development of the brain in the womb) can be managed by external stimulations

* Delayed childbirth creating pressure/injury to the brain, anoxia at childbirth, late baby crying after birth, have a great role in hampering brain growth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
