Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Somebody I know is in this situation: Blood brain barrier is compromised Brain bleed CSF compromised One of the MCA arteries is 85% dead tissue, was only 15% last week Both MCA and both PCA arteries are 100% blocked There are 3 tumors in the MCA Most of the veins around the MCA and PCA are struggling also The brain is covered in tumors The spine has many tumors, and recently one of the main arteries in the spine tore but the doctors were able to close the tear just in time This was the situation back in November. Starting about 3 weeks ago, this person stopped treatment, has rarely been in touch with the hospital or medical team, and is now doing better. Is it possible for somebody with the situation described above to stop treatment, and not only continue to survive, but to be doing better health-wise?
Kindly, post radiological findings to assess whether the arteries are blocked by a tumor or by some thrombus. It is not clear from your query whether there are tumors in blood vessels or there is blockage of arteries due to the thrombus.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri,
Pathologist and Microbiologist
