How Can Breathe And Skin Odor Be Treated?

My husband is 40 years old, 5'7", around 150-160lbs. He has had diabetes 1 since he was 3, and also is on medication for high blood pressure and cholesterol. Whenever my husband has something garlicy, oniony, or spicy foods, or even just a couple of beers I feel that I can smell it through his pores. It makes me not want to breathe when I'm by him. It can be rather strong too. Is there something he can do to reduce the odor? Also does being a diabetic increase the odor?

Hi,

Since it depends on the foodstuff he is eating and beer, the odor cannot be modified. He should restrict consuming it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN
