Hello I have brown bumps all over my pubic area and I don t know why. I am a teenage girl who never had sex before and it s been here for a while. I haven t told my mom bc it s embarrassing. It just started happening that it hurts when I wipe my vagina after using it. I want to know what s going on bc I wash up everyday and I m not doing anything wrong.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

According to your description, the possible causes of your problem are - allergic reaction to any personal hygienic materials or shaving tools,
-contact dermatitis due to tight fitting clothes leading to folliculitis.
As these type of problems can be seen usually, you need not feel embarrassed to discuss with your mother.
As you are the problem is disturbing your day to day life please take your mother and go to a gynecologist get examined to find out what is the actual problem and take treatment accordingly. Meanwhile sitz bath can help you to decrease the symptoms to some extent.I will be happy to help in following up questions. Take care.
