How Can Bruising In The Lower Abdomen Be Treated?

Hello my dad had a golf buggy accident and has severe bruising on lower stomach area and it happens Tuesday morning he went to a physician for workers comp because incident occurred at work however the bruise is still warm to the touch should he go back to be examined or is this normal based upon bruising. He is a diabetic also.

Thanks for posting on HCM
If bruises just superficail, a proper hygiene will do.Regular cleaning with an anti-septic solution like betadine may help.Also, his blood sugar will have to be well controlled as if poorly controlled, wound healing may not be easy.
If bruises do not dry up in a few days, you see the Doctor for reevaluation and to consider prescription of antibiotics.
