How Can Bumps On The Vaginal Lips Be Treated During Pregnancy?

Hello. I recently found out I was pregnant with my second child. Since then I have had irritation and some burning and stinging when I wash up. I also noticed red irritation bumps on my vaginal lips. I have been having slight cramping with no bleeding. What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As you already mentioned that you have pregnancy for a second child, irritation and reddish appears on vaginal lips may be due to increased blood circulation in the perineal area during pregnancy.

But mild lump may be due to some other reasons. It may be due to increased fat deposition. If anything other you notice, kindly have a visit to near Gynecologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
