How Can Bursitis In The Hips Be Treated?

I have bursitis in my right hip diagnosed on Wednesday. I can sit and stand but walking and sleeping are difficult. I am taking Naproxen 500 2x a day. How long should I expect before I am well. I am 65 years old, practice stretching yoga and walk 3 miles every day. No injury occurred. Thank you.
