Hi, thanks for your question

I'm sorry for your discomfort. I would list out some tips to help relieve the pain.

1. Continue with the oral aspirin you use.
2. Apply an analgesic ointment or cream to the area of pain.
3. You can also apply over-the-counter anesthetic ointments or patches such as lidocaine gel.
4. Apply ice packs on the affected area up to 8 times daily for 10 minutes each time.
5. Limit certain activities that worsen the pain such as walking uphill, and getting in and out of chairs.
6. Avoid applying pressure on the affected area.
7. Avoid lying on the affected side

Additionally, you might be needing physical therapy as directed by a physiotherapist with whom you should schedule a meet. Physiotherapy helps make the muscles around the hip joint less stiff, reducing the pain.

If these do not resolve the pain after a few weeks, you would then need to visit an orthopaedic surgeon for further management which may include injection of steroids into the affected joint and some surgical procedures.

I hope I have answered your question.

Feel free to get back to me if you have more questions.

Warm regards.
