How Can Cancer Be Treated?

recent tests confirmed cancer, psa 4.7 gleason 3+3 I am 66 years old and otherwise in great health. exercise on a regular basis, run, lift weights, question is what is the latest for treatments? Reading lots of information, looks like proton laser has the least side effects but not many treatment centers. Not comfortable with wait and worry approach. What do you think is the best method to treat this?

Hello,

Treatment of cancer depends on stage of cancer. Metastasis has to be ruled out first and then treatment decided. For rule out metastasis CT scan likes higher investigation helpful.

Prostate removal can be done by operation or other suitable method. Than if needed, chemotherapy treatment can be decided. Consult Onco-surgeon for examination and discuss your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
