Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 72 year old mother is in the hospital since yesterday. She is being treated with IV laseks, heparin, and now warfarin. She has a blood clot on her heart and diagnosis of Cardiomyopathy. She had shortness of breath on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday....but has been doing better, and after her ECO Cardiogram, was sort of shocked of what they told her. Any ideas where we are headed....How long in the hospital? Could she be treated without surgery? She looks and feels great---but all of her numbers say otherwise.
