How Can Cellulitis Be Treated?

At what point should I be concerned about cellulitis? It is on my right shin. This is my first time and it started after the Dermatologist did a biopsy. I have had symptoms over many years that have been getting increasingly worse. I develop pustules and they break open to sores. Of course they at times itch quite a lot. hi sir/madam,has any expert confirmed it to be cellulitis?there are many conditions that can cause recurrent pustular lesions on legs.it might be PUSTULAR PSORIASIS an uncommon variant of psoriasis.PERIPHERAL VASCULAR DISEASE is also a possibility in especially older individuals and a VENOUS DOPPLER would help in the diagnosis.if you are a smoker,we can think of BEURGER'S DISEASE.another possibility is if you are a diabetic, recurrent non healing ulcers occur due to diabetic neuropathy. PLATELET DERIVED GROWTH FACTOR,EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR supplementation,FIBROBLAST GROWTH FACTOR have very promising results in reduction of wound.SYSTEMIC ANTIBIOTICS,SILVER SULFADIAZINE will surely prove to be useful in your case.thank you.hope a positive result with the above suggestion.take care.bye.
