How Can Cellulitis In The Legs Be Treated?

I have cellulitis in my leg from my knee to ankle I have had vanc by I’v three days which spiked my liver to 300 then clindimycin which helped but got a rash changed to keflex had a reaction now I have no antibiotics and it’s flaring up again I have been putting coconut oil and garlic on it will silver sulfate cream 1% help it

Hello,

Cellulitis needs to be treated aggressively with antibiotic therapy otherwise you may develop serious complications. Applying coconut oil or garlic won't help. If you have developed an allergy to clindamycin it means you are allergic to the penicillin group of drugs.

In this case, macrolide antibiotics like Azithromycin and clarithromycin can be prescribed. Since these are prescription drugs you should discuss this with your physician. Don't delay the treatment and start an antibiotic course as soon as possible.
