How Can Chalazion Which Is Reoccurring Be Treated?

Hi, my daughter has had a chalazion since February. I took her to a specialist and they gave her eye medicine and it went away. It came back and I have been doing a warm compress. Now, I see it s turning a little purple. Can you please tell me if this is normal?
