How Can Chest Congestion After An Open Heart Surgery Be Treated?

Hi, I have a 4 yr old. that has g tube, had open heart surgery, an pulmonary hypertension. She has a head cold, with chest congestion. Looking for tea,or other home remedy to relieve an help her expel the mucus. The mucus is clear an thin. I have tried an doing the steam shower , running vapor in room at night also chest and back taps .As well as saline in nose. She just is not able to get it up out of her chest . Thank You for any suggestions
