How Can Chest Pain And Chronic Cough Be Treated?

I had a bad fall 2 weeks ago. Along with bruises and cracked knee cap, I must have landed on my chest - on concrete. I’ve had a croupy caugh and the pain is terrible in my chest. It was xrayed but didn’t show anything broken. Should I just ride out the pain?

HI ,
THANKS FOR THE QUERY.
I understand your concern.
chest pain with chronic pain could be due to-
-Stress to chest muscles due to SEVERE coughing.
- Some undetected pathology in lung tissue.. which needs to be reveiled with expert cinsultation & needful investogations.
Try with your present medication with hot fomentation &opain medicine NSAID like combiflam twice a day after food...if no relief in two days......
Please consult a chest specialist . proper diagnosis followed by specific treatment would help you out.
Thanks .
