How Can Chin Shape Be Fixed?

Hi, i am 26 years old female. I had an extended anatomical silicone chin implant small size 5mm, incision was under the chin. Implant stayed in only 2days and removed due to not liking at all. Its been almost 5months since removal but my chin is still bigger longer wider heavyier looking than before. If its internal scar tissue can i get cortistreoid shots to my chin? What can i do to get my old chin back? Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per the narration of the issue, the cause of disfigurement requires evaluation with clinical examination, X-ray with or without MRI of the chin.

As per the evaluation, one can go for laser therapy, steroid shots at the site, revision cosmetic surgery, silicon compression devices or others as per the consultant choice.

Wish you great day.

Thanks.
