General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health problems.

As per your description, it seems your cholesterol level might be in borderline range. That's why physician did't prescribed medicines. You just need to stay away from fatty foods like cheese, paneer, oily foods. If you are of good physic and no problem in walking, start early morning walking. Initially for short duration and then increase upto 0.5 - 1 hour. Fast walking and running will have good effect on cholesterol metabolism. It will increase good cholesterol (HDL) in your body which helps in removing bad cholesterol (LDL, VLDL).
Stay healthy.

Regards
Dr. Hiren
