How Can Cholesterol Levels Be Kept Under Control?

My LDL was running 117 for the last 10 years. I only got over 200 Total( ( Ch ) ( 207) once My weight is good . Blood pressure good Tri good HDL good . I know I got the LD L to 155 this time and ChL 225 because of Christmas thanksgiving , vacation and a few other wrong eating. My dr has given me 3 months or she wnts me on meds . I have already got on. A diet of veggies. Fruits and more fiber and baked fish or chicken . Plus I m very active and exercise almost everyday . Ny other suggestions
