Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have chronic acid reflux. Sometimes I’m a bit nauseous and have no appetite. Sometimes I feel very hungry and the nauseous after eating very little. Oftentimes I’m either constipated or have the runs. I take tums and Zantac on a daily basis, which concerns me.
How long are you taking Tums (calcium carbonate) and what is the dosage Sometimes overdose tums might also cause nausea and constipation. My suggestion is you can take T.Pantoprazol thrice daily a half hour before food and take Digene syrup thrice daily. If still, you feel any inconvenience you can consult a surgeon for a further basic endoscopic examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Indhu Priyadharshini
