Hi,I am Raju.A.T (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have chronic anxiety, I often feel like a cloud is looming over my head, I worry about finances, family and work. I have used clonazepam off and on, as well as have been treated for back pain and a shoulder injury with opiods. I take escitlopram, am on toujeo for diabetes and feel a wreck for being only 56, female and come from an unknown medical background due to adoption. What can I do when everyone says I should work through the anxiety?
For that mentioned medication that is clonazepam should be taken for three to four month.
Citalopram or fluoxetine like medication also needs to be prescribed for eight months. You will notice improvement only after 2-3 month of continuous medication intake.
