How Can Chronic Arrhythmia Be Treated?

Hi. I had a Medtronic micro pacemaker implanted 11days ago. Recovery went well and I was back to walking over a mile within days. About 4 days ago I noticed shortness of breath after mild exertion - walking less than 1/4 mile and heaviness in my legs. Had to pause after walking up 3 flights of stairs today. Facts. Age 74, stent implanted 6/29/17. Chronic arrythmia. On metoprolol 100 mg am, 50 mg pm, isosorbide, xeralto 20 mg, plaice and 81 mg aspirin. Thinking of going to meg emergency room. Thoughts?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is important that you visit a doctor.
It may not be anything serious, but given your history, you are predisposed to heart problems, even after the implant.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
