Hi,

Though pneumonia takes a few days to show improvement signs. It does improve with proper care &medication.

So let her be patient &take the medications regularly. She can add with some cough expectorant with her doctor's recommendation. And sleep in propped up position for ease in sleep.

A disturbing cough &side effect of the drug both could interfere with sleep.

But the problem would go gradually as she improves. So let her be positive & cooperative to her doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
