How Can Chronic Cough And Throat Pain Be Treated?

I went and seen my family doctor on Sept. 30th and was told I had a sinus infection. She gave me a prescription for augmenten but asked me to wait two days to fill as she suspected a virus was causing my trouble. I did as she requested and waited but have now been on the medicine for about a week. I feel somewhat better but am not feeling well. I have a terrible cough and my voice box hurts. Should I revisit my doctor or am I being impatient ?

for diagnosis of sinositis x-ray pns is to be taken and if diagnosed then antrum wash out should be recomanded it is tobe done by ent doctor.
