How Can Chronic Cough Be Treated?

I have very deep croupy cough for a few days and i m coughing up very thick sticky yellow clumps of mucas that has a very horrible taste. I have some antibiotics, a few different kinds provided by oncologist when I wAS in chemotherapy for breast and colon cancers.

I can understand your concern.
Since you are cancer survivor and not improving even after taking antibiotics, we should definitely rule out lung infection and bronchitis for your symptoms.
So consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection. PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
You may need higher antibiotics and inhaled treatment depending on the reports.
