How Can Chronic Cough Be Treated?

My husband started coughing two weeks before me. My lungs are clear on xray. My sinuses were clogged, now clear. I still have the cough which produces about 1 tsp. per day total of yellowish phlegm. I took singular and nose sprays. It has been four months. We both still have the cough. He has wheezing symptoms, but I do not. I have been to allergist to no avail. He is scheduled for pulmonologist this week. Any suggestions appreciated....

Hi
Thanks for posting on health magic
As you both have chronic cough with expectoration, it is progressing towards bronchitis, I would also like to know about smoking habits,
And you should definitely consult to pulmonologist
Thanks
