How Can Chronic Cough Be Treated?

I heavy cough for 5 days and cold . I go to doctor then five me amoxicillin clavulanate 125 mg table take 1 tablet by mouth every 12 hours with food for 10 days Prednisone 10 mg tablet take 6 tablets for 1 day by mouth daily 5 tablets for 1 day 4 3 2 1 then stop IT is ok I dot have other sick thank you peter zhen

Hello,

As you already on an antibiotic like tablet amoxicillin-clavulanic acid. Continue the same medications and complete the course. Along with that, you can take tablet Cheston cold, syrup Cadex after consultation. Do steam inhalation twice a day. Do chest x-ray once. I will suggest you review here with detailed history or consult with chest physician with reports.
