How Can Chronic Cough While Suffering From COPD Be Treated?
I have some symptoms of COPD. My Primary Care doc thought I may have allergy induced Bronchitis. I am coughing a lot, expressing sputum, shortness of breath, not sleeping well, and very frightened. I live in Arizona, have never smoked, and am getting tested for Valley Fever which is found in this area.
As a matter of fact, the best therapy for COPD is oxygen inhalation which is to be given for 14 or 15 hours per day. A steam inhalation plus deep breathing exercises are also beneficial.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
