General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Dermatomyositis is a medical condition which does not have a specific treatment. Corticosteroid medications, such as Prednisone, are the common method of treatment in most cases. Other possible treatment are:
-physical therapy
-surgery

You should consult your doctor for a treatment plan depending on your medical history.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
