How Can Chronic Diarrhea And Constipation Be Treated?

Hi, I ve been having problems with watery diarrhea, alternating with constipation. I ve had 40% of my colon removed due to diverticulitis bout in 2007. But lately, almost everything I eat that isn t bread bothers me. Do I have a real problem? Food is not digesting much either.

Your problem seems to be due to bowel infection/lack of digestion due to loss of intestines.

Detection/exclusion of infection with needful specific treatment and replacement of digestive enzymes would help. Please contact a gastroenterologist.
