Hello,

It is unlikely that your gall bladder surgery is the cause of your diarrhea. You may be having an inflammatory bowel disease like Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. It would be good to have a stool calprotectin tested and if positive, then consult a gastroenterologist to have a colonoscopy done. Street narco drug is not the solution as it leads to a bigger problem of addiction. Imodium (Loperamide) may be helpful to reduce the frequency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Noble Zachariah
