How Can Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Be Treated?

I have a friend who has had chronic fatigue syndrome for about 30 years. Whenever I get an idea that might help her, I pass it on to her, which I know might be irritating but I'm trying to help her get well, if possible. Doing research on malnutrition, I observed that the two ailments seem to have similar symptoms. Might chronic fatigue syndrome be an exacerbated form of malnutrition, but one that doesn't actually lead to starvation?

Hi
Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health problems.

Fatigue for such longer duration can have many reasons like electrolyte imbalance, thyroid problem, lung and heart problem or myasthenia gravis.
Please consult MD physician for full body check up and find out exact reason for it. Please don't try home remedies without finding the cause of fatiguability.

Regards
Dr. Hiren
