Hello,

Co-Codamal is a medication that is given when medicines like Aspirin or Ibuprofen do not work.

Since your husband is having headaches since three weeks, he is suggested to visit a GP & get clinically examined, assessed & get investigations (MRI, CT, Lumber puncture & CT angiography) to detect the factor(pathology) causing the discomfort (tension headache, sinusitis, cluster headache, tumor, etc).

He should get diagnosed & treated before the surgery. Help him stay hydrated, give him ORS, juice & soups.

He should avoid any kind of stress, anxiety or tensions.

Get him an eye check-up done in case he needs a pair of lens.

He should stay away from addictions if any & take adequate sleep.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
