How Can Chronic Migraine Be Treated?

I m on the verge of starting par menopause. I have an autoimmune disease (psoriasis) and chronic migraines. My sister swears by black cohosh to treat her sysptoms. However, I m wary of trying this herb when it s time. I take verapomil to treat my migraines (I have normal BP). I m also wary of black cohosh mimicking estrogen. I don t want to take anything that affects my hormones as it might make my migraines worse. What do you recommend?

What about Sumatriptan? I have seen it works really well for migraine but you need a prescription for it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
