I am a veteran that has been experiencing chronic pain for 24 years. I am currently on morphine but due to so many vets dying from opiod overdose I mam being given less which makes my pain worse and I don t sleep. I have tried natural supplements, homeopathic remedies as well as Benzodiazepines but still do not sleep through the night. How can I be helped?

I understand your concern, You have not mentioned type of pain you have ... still according to pain management practices followed would help you out. - you should attend a pain clinic for cognitive & behavioral therapy.. to understand origin of pain & learn to manage/ reduce it . - Physiotherapy helps in managing pain. - Joining a group of person's having same problems. -Reducing dose of opiod drug to minimum possible dose / stop it gradually ... to be replaced by safer medicines as per expert advise. - learning mind concentration/relaxation/ meditation technoques to manage psychological part of pain.
